The 2455PLC is the most flexible listening center designed for educational uses. Its built-in learning center capability makes it ideal for libraries, literacy activities, and ELL/ ELD learning applications. The variable speed playback of the Performer Plus on CDs & cassettes enables dance/music students to slow down the music so they can more readily learn new material.

A: There is not a hard carry case that can accommodate the Performer Plus™ multimedia player and the five 2924AVPS headphones that are included in the 2455PLC learning center. However, the 2006 is a soft storage bag that can fit the learning center along with any additional products and accessories.
A: The Califone 2455AV Performer Plus™ has variable speed playback for both the cassette and CD players. The Califone PowerPro™ PA919 portable PA also has variable speed playback for the cassette player only.
A: Check to make sure that the button marked for “dubbing” on the 2455AV media player is set to ‘NORMAL SPEED’. If this does not activate the feature, please contact our Tech Support Dept.
A: The Performer Plus® has a tape pitch function to change the playback speed +- 15%. This is considered extremely useful by linguists and reading teachers for language learning. Make sure the dial pointed in the center indicating the tape speed is 'normal'.
A: The Voice Over function allows you to communicate with the audience through a microphone while the music continues to play. Two separate volume controls are available for you to adjust the microphone volume and the volume of the music. Teachers can use this feature to tape record desired curriculum/lessons that includes music in the background.
