Califone® Mourns Chuck Stone

Califone International, Inc. announced the death of Chuck Stone, Vice President of Sales. Stone died August 19th after an eight month battle fighting pancreatic cancer. He died at the UCLA Hospital, with his wife Ginny, sons Chase, Scott, Michael, and Joey, and daughter Kerri at his bedside. Stone was sixty-two years old. (more…)

Califone® Announces 2004-2005 Stone Scholarship Contest

Califone International, Inc, the premier manufacturer of quality sound presentation solutions for schools, industry, institutions and the workplace, has announced the 2004-2005 Stone Scholarship Contest for Pre-K through Eighth Grade students.

The format for the contest will be identical to last year’s successful approach. Three different grade-based groups will submit entries to win a United States Savings Bond for the individual students and Califone products for their school, with first, second and third place winners chosen from each group. The Pre-K through Second Grade group students will submit the Califone Official Coloring Sheet for a chance to win up to $200 in U.S. Savings Bonds and up to $1000 in Califone learning equipment products for their school. Third through Sixth Grade students will submit an original drawing for the chance to win up to $250 in U.S. Savings Bonds and up to $1000 in Califone products for their schools. Seventh and eighth grade students will be judged on short stories or essays for the chance to win up to $300 in U.S. Savings Bonds and $1000 in Califone learning equipment products for their schools.
