Infocomm Awaits New Califone Lines

Califone is putting the finishing touches on its preparations for the AV industry’s largest annual gathering, Infocomm.

Held this year in Orlando, FL from June 17-19th, attendees at this year’s show will see a couple of upgrades and new lines at the Califone booth (#3409).

One product which will be shown for the first time will be the company’s just upgraded Infrared Audio System, which installers have been recommending to schools because of its consistent audio coverage and less signal drop out due to its dual ceiling sensors (twice the industry norm). Customer sentiment reinforced the importance of full coverage in an online poll whose results the company shared earlier this year. School districts such as Aiken County Public Schools in Aiken, South Carolina, have been increasing using the technology to help see increases in their state assessments.

Also shown will be the company’s line of Array Speakers (wireless UHF, powered, and non-powered). Considered an instant favorite for 21st Century Classrooms, the two powered versions feature fixed and variable line outs, enabling separate volume control over dedicated systems for students with special needs. Working with installer Troxell Communications, one of the fastest growing districts in Arizona, Dysart Unified School District, recently purchased 450 of the Array speakers to accompany projection systems installed in classrooms throughout the district.

Other product announcements are expected nearing the show.
