Califone Brackets for March Mayhem
Nothing beats the drama of going head to head in competition. The excitement of being watched by the nation and recognized as the best makes for some great viewing and tweeting!
So to celebrate the enthusiasm surrounding the annual college basketball tournament, we’ve created our own that’s based instead on the popularity of Califone products! But unlike the complicated maze only a dedicated bracketologist can navigate through for the basketball tournament, ours is pretty simple – you have to pick just one product to win.
The products will compete against each other within four brackets and will be based on the number of hits each respective product page receives over the course of the tournament. Each bracket (headphones, headsets, PAs, and boomboxes) will have one representative product advancing to compete in the following elimination rounds (sound familiar?), ultimately leading to the winner. And just like the basketball tourney, the challenge is selecting your winner before the contest starts.
But if you choose right one, what will the winner receive? Since the contest involves the use of data, the victorious teacher will receive a grand prize of a 40-student Got It! Student Response System (to track student performance and help you evaluate their progress)!
The Got It! student response system grades objective tests, tallies class averages, and saves all records to facilitate the teacher’s in-class learning performance and provides progress reports to parents.

Elite 8 - advancing products announced March 26th
Headset Bracket Weighing in at twelve ounces, this perennial contender hails from language labs and reading enrichment programs. Give a warm welcome to the 3066! It’ll be going up against a headset which may float like a butterfly, but it stings like a bee – it’s the 3064!
Headphone Bracket
This jock of a headphone is as often seen kickin’ it in computer labs as it is in libraries or classrooms. It’s the 3068AV and it’s up against a headphone whose small size shouldn’t deceive you – this little powerhouse really brings it. Put your hands together for the CA2!
PA Bracket
This bruiser is the most powerful in this year’s big dance, but it was also the first portable PA to offer a built-in SD card slot and USB interface – it’s the PowerPro and it’s going up against it’s cross-town rival. This tournament darling still holds the record for the number of championship trophies! It’s the voice of computers, LCD projectors, and the rest of the high tech crowd. Here’s the PresentationPro!
Boombox Bracket
Perhaps the most competitive bracket of them all, this features two of the most popular multimedia player/recorders in classrooms throughout the country. Give it up for the Spirit vs the Performer Plus!

PRIZE WINNERS PRIZE SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: This is a game of chance. Odds of winning are based on eligible number of entries. Prize notification will be completed on or about April 5th, 2010.
