Supports Better Hearing Speech Month
Califone announced its support for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s annual Better Hearing & Speech Month.
Occurring each May, the event is an opportunity for audiologists, speech pathologists, and other hearing professionals to remind the public of the importance of appropriate preservation of our hearing abilities. Included this year is the BHSM Drawing contest in which participants are invited to create a picture emphasizing the theme “Protect Your Hearing…You Need It For A Lifetime” and healthy listening principles.
Califone is supporting the contest with a donation of an MP3 player (developed to limit the volume playback level to 85 decibels) and an Active Noise Canceling Headphone.
Califone was one of the earliest supporters when the “Listen To Your Buds” campaign first began in 2007 and has integrated the messaging into its interactive online catalog. The company most recently supported the Safe Listening Concert Series.
