When Class Knockouts are a Good Thing
Have you ever tried to install audio equipment on your classroom wall and thought to yourself: I wish there was more than one way of doing this?
Sometimes you may encounter that certain audio systems really only have one way of being mounted. You can only hang them from this one specific angle; there are only a few spots where you can attach screws, etc. As if setting up audio equipment to get it to work properly isn’t challenging enough you now have to figure out how to get it positioned correctly on the wall while simultaneously trying to get the wires and cables arranged. Sound a bit like a daunting task? It shouldn’t be and when installing the upgraded Califone installed Infrared Classroom Audio System you’ll have nary a struggle since its storage cabinet, where you can connect audio using line outputs, is outfitted with 6 different knockouts: 3 on top, 2 inside, and 1 on the bottom. Easy, convenient, user-friendly? Yes, all of the above. These knockouts allow you to worm the necessary wires that you need to get your system mounted fully operational through holes where you can then connect your choice of the array or ceiling speakers. Depending upon the layout of your classroom and its walls that means you can use the knockouts on top or ones that are inside to run the wires along the wall in a neat and organized way.
Being able to efficiently mount your audio system can lead to your being able to instead focus on how you can best use it to create an interactive classroom.
