The annual National Title 1 Conference was held in Tampa, FL Jan 31 – Feb 3, 2011 and Califone was there to support it.
“We want our Title 1 students to have the same opportunities to learn as everyone else”
A longstanding supporter of the program, Califone staff met with Principals and Program Coordinators to review the role and needs of audio within differentiated learning and boosting student achievement.

While a lot of the focus (and booth prizes) concentrated on classroom-rugged headphones and headsets with language learning, the role of whole class (infrared) audio amplification systems also received attention. “We wanted our Title 1 students to have the same opportunities to learn as everyone else and installing amplifications systems enabled all students to hear their teachers,” shared one Title 1 Coordinator from Aiken County Public Schools in a recent case study.
