TCEA 2011 Wrap Up

High-energy educators representing districts of all sizes with differing technological needs descended onto Austin this month for the annual TCEA conference.

For those seeking technology-based solutions, attendees at the conference seemed evenly split between finding inspiration from keynote speakers (Leigh Anne Tuohy, David Pogue, Tony Vincent to name a few), attending the many offered academies and workshops, or walking through the exhibit hall.

One of the busier booths was Califone, which was launching a series of new many audio-visual solutions including its Wireless Tablet Interface, Multipurpose Laser Presenter, and the Titanium series of headphones and headsets.

Califone proudly supported the following sessions with some Titanium headsets, USB Jackbox for group podcasting:

There were graduate level students doing research for Assistive Listening support and there was even a surprise showing of Califone at the Austin Museum of Art.
