Upgrades Document Camera
Califone announced an improvement to the digital zoom capability of its Diggiditto Document Camera.
The DC596 doubles its digital zoom to a 6x. Schools who have already purchased the Diggiditto can visit its web page to download the software update. Already popular with educators for its versatility to use skype in the classroom (read Skype with a Document Camera?), the portable DC596 can also be used as a content development tool thanks to its ability to automatically playback previously saved images (and related audio recordings).
