Bundles New PA419 iPhone/iPod-compatible wireless portable PA system with WS-CK1 wireless upgrade package not only provides a wireless mic, but has the capability to wirelessly broadcast audio from an unconnected computer or other installed item.
Califone, a leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of A/V products and accessories since 1947, is proud to announce the new PA419 Wireless Portable PA System will be bundled with a wireless mic and transmitter (the WS-CK1 Wireless Upgrade Package).
“Ideal for the House of Worship and other related Pro A/V markets, the combined PA419-WS system not only provides a wireless mic, but also the capability to wirelessly broadcast audio from an unconnected computer or other installed item,” explained Tim Ridgway, VP marketing of Califone. “With the versatile and innovative iPhone/iPod docking station on the PA419, the PA419 is the ultimate all-in-one portable PA system. When coupled with the WS-CK1, it becomes the perfect combination for a wide variety of applications, whether indoors or outdoors, including even emergency response situations.”
The WS-CK1 expands a wired PA’s usefulness by enabling wireless transmission to it from other audio sources, including computers and MP3 players. The transmitter also has a mic input, and with the included headset can be worn either on the hip or around the neck with an available lanyard. Together, they replace the outdated wireless mic with an adjustable range up to 300 feet. With the enormous amount of small, portable, and easily accessible digital media devices and mediums available today, along with an iPod/iPhone dock, the PA419 also boasts a USB Media Player, a CD/DVD player (with pitch control), and dual UHF Mic Receivers.
With its integrated 30W (RMS) built-in amplifier, the functional 16-channel PA419 is perfect for audiences of up to 300 people in rooms up to 2,000 sq feet in Houses of Worship, meeting/conference rooms, gyms, dance/dining halls, tradeshows, and outdoor parties and events where a dynamic, lightweight (just 14.6 lbs.), and easy-to-use portable sound reinforcement system is required.
And with so many digital audio files now stored on iPods and iPhones, the convenience of the PA419 is its compatibility with iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch (first through 4th generations), iPod Classic, iPod Nano (1st through 6th generations), iPod Mini, and other iPod configurations. “The PA419 has a 6.5-inch, 4 ohm, full-range speaker which delivers crisp, clear audio over a wide dispersion area, while the multi-function yet easy-to-use and navigate control panel and included remote control have been designed for those without much technological know-how,” added Ridgway. “The versatile and 902-928MHz compliant, dual 16-channel receivers makes it the ideal solution for nearly every application. And, the hands-free mic allows the user to play their favorite band’s music from an iPhone, as well as transmitting wireless audio from a computer.”
