The proliferation of smartphones used in schools has brought with it the opportunity to access, play and listen to a much wider variety of audio. But how would you use this new found ability and how do you amplify something that’s streaming through your iPhone out to your class, let a alone to a crowd?
Elementary school teacher Diane Shumate Binder thought a portable PA that could do all this would help her students with their reading and also be used on Talent Days. She submitted her ideas to the online contest and was announced as the winner of the brand new PA419!
“I like to teach through music and this would allow me to play the students’ favorite songs so that it would be easily heard. I could also use it so students could hear their own voice while reading to give them added confidence to move forward and become better readers,” she shared.
Also shipping with her PA will be a wireless mic and receiver, giving her the ability to wirelessly transmit audio files from her computer to be played through the PA419.
