Discover Drupal, an open source content management system featuring robust web 2.0 tools. This hands-on session will show you how to develop a dynamic school website • Examine features of an open source content management system to evaluate its usefulness to an educational environment.
• Participants will also view demonstrations of Web 2.0 tools in learning environments using Drupal. (web administration)
• Participate in a Drupal installation (web development) and learn about the interworkings of the Drupal CMS.
• Explore helpful resources to assist in learning about Drupal and assessing its effectiveness as a content management system for a school district. (website design)
This hands-on ISTE 2012 session requested the use of headsets for computers and with tablets.
