Audiovisual education technology company receives T.H.E. Journal Readers’ Choice Award for Best Classroom Audio Distribution/Sound Enhancement System Maker
Chatsworth, Calif. (Nov. 8, 2016) – In an increasingly dynamic education landscape, teachers rely on technological tools and equipment to develop the most powerful and time-effective instructional strategies. Califone International, a leader in the design, development and manufacturing of audiovisual (AV) for use in education, has been recognized as a top education technology provider in T.H.E. Journal’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2016. Selected by an audience of educators, Califone earned a silver award in the category of Best Classroom Audio Distribution/Sound Enhancement System Maker.
The 2016 award program marks T.H.E. Journal’s second year of inviting readers to nominate their favorite classroom products and providers. Categories range from hardware solutions to software programs. Each category has a platinum, gold and silver award winner.
“With the development of each product, Califone aims to innovate classroom capabilities and support teachers,” said Scott Evans, Marketing Manager of Califone. “This honor reflects those efforts, and demonstrates that the right technology can make a noticeable difference in how teachers accomplish their jobs.”
This year’s Readers’ Choice Awards gathered input from 1,003 individuals, including teachers, administrators, education specialists and IT leaders. Two-thirds of the respondents work in a public institution or local education agency. Participants were able to vote in any category of their choosing.
This year, Califone celebrates 70 years of providing audiovisual to educators. Entering 2017, Califone will continue to deliver innovative and reliable products to districts nationwide—including the GH507 and GH131 Gaming Headsets.
