Replacement needle for 1005 Player
“I use our Califone Phonograph Player everyday. Because so much material that’s used in Early Education is available only on albums, it's important to my teaching to have this excellent tool available.” Rochelle Miller EK Teacher Sierra Canyon School, US Department of Education, Blue Ribbon School Chatsworth, CA
A: The Record Player does not feature any headphone jacks. It’s a simple “plug & play” 5 watt unit for use in the classrooms and dance studios for groups up to 50 people.
A: The 007-1005-00 is the only needle to be used with the 1005 record player. It can be used for playing the 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM speeds as the record player has no need for different needle settings.
A: If you have the 1010, 1030, 1035 or older model record players (excluding the 1620), which have been discontinued, the needle on the tone arm needs to be flipped over so that it plays LPs at the 16 RPM speed level. To play 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM, flip the needle back over. The current Califone record player, the 1005, only plays 33 1/3/, 45 and 78 RPM speeds and has no need for different needle settings.
