A: Yes it is possible to connect one 7-Port USB Hub to another so long as one remains connected to the USB port on a computer and others use an AC adapter if there is excessive power consumption, which depends on how many devices are connected.
A: The 7-Port USB Hub does not plug into power however if it is plugged into a powered USB socket it will then power anything that is plugged into it, such as MP3 players, so you can download to multiple devices.
A: The 7-port USB Hub does not require any drivers or anything else to be downloaded. Your computer should automatically detect it and start installing it. Once complete you can begin connecting devices such as the Califone MP3 player/recorder to it.
A: When connecting devices to the 7-port USB Hub, your computer may automatically detect them; however, if they are not detected you may need to install a driver that comes with the devices. A: Yes. The 7-port USB Hub is designed to allow for 1.5 amps of current without use of an external DC power adapter. If you are connecting a large quantity of devices to your USB Hub, an external DC power adapter with a rating up to 5V/3.5A should be used to provide additional current.
A: The 7-port USB Hub can be used to upload to and download files from a computer while having up to 7 MP3 players connected. A: To download onto your 7-port USB Hub, simply connect the USB Hub to your computer using its included cable. There is a jack on the back of the USB Hub designated for a computer connection. Connect up to 7 MP3 players into the USB jacks on the USB Hub. Once all connections have been completed, open “My Computer” and you will notice each connected MP3 player listed. Open your desired files within your selected folders and drag and drop content onto your selected MP3 player.
