Teachers rely on these classroom learning centers to help eliminate classroom clutter and assist small groups of beginning readers.
While educators rely on learning centers, all too often teachers, media specialists, and reading teachers spend too much of their time locating and organizing listening center equipment, reading materials, and audio components into one convenient place.
To address this problem, Califone has designed these all in one audio solutions to eliminate clutter and to keep audio equipment and listening materials organized in one central location. Available in either portable or stationary models, each of the two Performer Plus Audio Pods has dedicated storage spaces for the included Performer Plus multimedia player/recorder, jackbox, six headphones, areas to store your own audio materials, books, and a special section to organize cables and cords.
This encourages students to take better care of the equipment while allowing teachers to quickly track each audio component for future use. They also support state requirements for developing oral communication skills and understanding media literacy as a part of recommended educational technology standards.
Since the audio equipment is readily available, the Performer Plus Audio Pod allows students to begin their lessons promptly and clean up efficiently afterward, which decreases waiting time between activities and optimizes available learning time.
