It accepts the most popular formats used today in addition to playing MP3 CDs for audio support. The full-function remote control enables you to move about the classroom and still control the speed of play (1/2X, 1/3X, 1/4X, 1/5X, 1/6X, and 1/7X speeds) for instance or even play files plugged into the USB port on the DVD-110.
A: The DVD110 does feature the “play a loop” function. Simply press the “A-B” button on the remote control once to set the beginning point of the looped motion picture, press it again to set the ending point. The DVD110 then will repeat playing the selected section from point A to point B. To cancel the loop and resume normal playback, simply press the “A-B” button the third time.
A: Yes. The DVD110 features a Password function which enables you to setup a four digit password in the System Setting manual and have full control of what DVDs are being played in the classroom.
A: Yes. You can use the up/down and right direction keys on the remote control to set the maximum playable MPAA rating (Kid Safe, G, PG, PG-13, PG-R, R, NC-17, Adult) in the Rating option of the System Setting manual. Once the maximum rating is set, the correct password must be entered each time for the DVD110 to play a DVD that has any higher ratings than the preset maximum rating.
A: There are two DVD players available; the Deluxe DVD110 Deluxe DVD player and the DVD400 DVD Writer & Player, which is the only DVD player with a built-in TV tuner.
A: The upgradedDeluxe DVD Player no longer comes equipped with two ¼” mic inputs however it does now include a USB port from which files can be played. It also supports new formats for playing music.
A: Either one of the Califone DVD Players will work for a small class size. The main difference between the Deluxe DVD-110 and the DVD-400 is that the latter is also a DVD Writer. Both have the same audio and video formats as well as signal output. The DVD-110 has two ¼” mic inputs which can be used for karaoke.
