A: Yes. There are five different stereo headphones that have a 3.5mm plug and come with a ¼” plug adapter. They are the 3068AV, 2924AVPS, 2985PG, SA-740 and the noise-canceling NC500TFC. Read more about the different headphone and headset plugs.
A: Califone headphones are available in silver, blueberry or beige, depending upon what headphone you need. The 3060-series are available in all 3 colors. The 2924AVP, 2924AVPS and 3064AV headset come in both beige and blueberry. However, the color-themed Listening First™ headphones come in blue, red and yellow. The 3068AV is only available in black. The SA-740 and NC500TFC in silver.
A: The NC500TFC active noise cancelling headphone helps protect students’ hearing with its large over-the-ear earcups that reduce ambient noise even before the noise-cancelling feature is activated. To activate the noise-cancelling feature built, simply turn on the on/off switch located on the earcup. The lit green LED light next to the on/off switch provides a confirmation that the noise cancellation is active.
A: The NC500TFC active noise cancelling headphones are only available with its hardshell storage case as the headphone earcups allow it to fold flat inside. Storage cases help protect headphones and other audio visual equipment.
A: The difference between a headphone and a headset is a headphone is used only for listening and a headset can be used for listening and capturing audio responses (used by many language/reading programs). Put another way, a headset is a headphone with a microphone attached to it.
