The PowerPro is the ideal speaker for those who require an easy-to-use, "meat and potatoes" portable sound reinforcement solution without any unnecessary features.
Designed for any kind of venue, this 90-watt RMS PowerPro Companion Speaker can be used as a stand alone unit for crowds up to 1,000 people, or to drive up to two non-powered support speakers (PA919SP). It can also be used with an unlimited number of other powered companion speakers to wirelessly support a PowerPro master speaker (PA919SD or PA919) for coverage in larger sized venues with crowds numbering 2,000 or more. These uses give it flexibility and versatility for any budget and situation.
The PowerPro Companion Speaker is the first portable companion speaker to deliver wireless capability. It comes equipped with one 16-channel built-in wireless mic receiver and an XLR line input. A non-powered support speaker can be connected via the 1/4" speaker out jacks. Its 10" high-powered woofer is driven by a beefy 40 ounce magnet (the most efficient in its class) and a high-frequency compression driver for optimal audio reproduction. The PA919PS also has independent bass and treble controls, digital master volume control. It operates on both AC and DC power for flexibility, has a power status indicator and even operates while it's being recharged.

A: Yes it will still work if you plug in the AC cord. While it's plugged in, the battery will also recharge. To avoid this situation from happening again, notice there is a small light on the rear of the unit that's normally green when there is adequate power in the battery. When it becomes depleted, the light changes to a red warning color instead.
A: The height of the 3 positions for the retractable handle of the PowerPro series is 5”, 9”, and 13” from the handle reset level; these options make it easy for all users to roll the units around.
A: The rechargeable battery inside the PowerPro has probably run out of power. It simply needs to be fully recharged (which takes about 8 hours) before it can be used on battery-only power. It can still operate however when it's being recharged.
A: Yes there is an automatic reset. Whenever a PowerPro is turned off, the previously set volume levels are wiped clean and reset to zero. This is a safety feature so you for instance don't accidentally turn the machine on at the same level when it was last used outdoors and you are inside this time.
A: The lights on the front of the unit are designed to give quick visual assurance of proper wireless functioning. The green light in the center denotes that the unit is powered on. The red light shows the frequencies are synced and the outside yellow lights indicate audio reception. Also ensure the Wireless Companion Speaker is in the line-of-sight with the PowerPro or PowerPro SD. In the situation where the speaker and the PowerPro/PowerPro SD are not set up on the same ground level, please use the tripods (TP-50) to raise them to avoid any obstructions. If necessary, rotate the speakers a couple degrees for clear and reliable reception.
