The Infrared Classroom Audio System delivers all of the benefits of sound field amplification with greater audio coverage & reception with dual ceiling sensors to expand the coverage area and avoids “drop out” of the signals. Two wireless mics ensure the teacher and students will be heard by everyone in addition to amplifying audio played from computers and other sources. It can also connect with secondary systems (such as an assistive listening system) as well as announcements made from the school's main office.

A: Yes, the headset mic that comes with the Installed Infrared Audio System can be interchanged with one of the other hands-free microphones however we recommend that this system be used with the headset mic as it has the best impedance and may have the least amount of feedback.
A: Yes. The newly designed console of the Infrared Audio System includes a local volume control, allowing teachers to determine the volume of the office announcement being played in the classroom.
A: Yes. The Infrared Classroom Audio System features a ¼” Line Out which outputs the audio from the entire Infrared Classroom Audio System, and can be connected to a secondary assistive listening system, additional speakers, or to a media player for recording purpose. A: For your convenience, the output volume of the headset microphone can be controlled from two different locations. One way to adjust it is from the volume control on the beltpack transmitter, the other way is through the system’s “Teacher Mic” volume control knob.
A: Yes. The Infrared Classroom Audio System is equipped with two Aux Ins: one 3.5mm and one RCA enabling users to connect with a MP3 player, CD player, VCR, computer, DVD player, or other multimedia players. A: Yes. Both of the wireless handheld microphone and the beltpack transmitter can be recharged by simply place them on the included charging stations; they will be recharged without needing to turn the main system on. Read more about other upgrades to the Infrared System.
A: A total of four microphones can be used with the Infrared Classroom Audio System simultaneously. The Infrared Classroom Audio System is equipped with one wireless handheld microphone (2.85 MHz frequency) and one hands-free headset microphone along with a beltpack transmitter (2.35 MHz frequency). A: The transmission range between the transmitter and the IR receivers of the Infrared Classroom Audio Systems is 40’ which is ample for a typical classroom.
