“Our district has a strict technology standard that each student must master touch type by the eighth grade.) We thought that the special coloring and coding on the Kids Keyboard would be very helpful to our kindergarten through second graders. And, we knew by combining the keyboard with our other computer accessories, we could provide our younger students with a safe, computer-based learning center. The students notice the change in how much easier it is for them to type properly. The teachers are happy that their students will not be practicing their 'hunting and pecking' skills moving forward.” Alison Ostertag District Literacy Leader Atchison County Community Schools Atchison, KS
A: Yes. To automatically match the WS-R channel to the WS-T channel, first ensure there is no other transmitter in the vicinity. Confirm the Channel Lock is off on the WS-R, then position it within one foot of the WS-T. Next, press the Channel Up and Channel Down buttons simultaneously and hold for at least 3 seconds. When the LCD stops flashing, the channel set up is complete.
A: The wireless audio system receiver and transmitter function as a one-way system so that audio is transmitted only from the transmitter to the receiver and not vice-versa.
A: The WS-CH can string two other identical units onto it for a maximum total of three units. This enables a total of up to 12 WS-T and WS-R units to be charged at one time.
A: No they are different ones since each handles a different power requirement. Since the Cradle (WS-CR) charges only a single unit, it handles a lower amount of power. The 4-position charger (WS-CH) can charge up to 4 units (any combinination of the WS-T and WS-R) and deals with more power, so it has to be designed differently.
A: Yes, the DVD50-PLC learning center can be used by more than one person using an audio splitter for 2 people or a mini jackbox to expand for up to 4 people.
A: Yes. It is possible to connect the ST audio splitter to the M319 beltpack transmitter and then plug in two different hands-free microphones to the splitter so they can be used simultaneously. The drawback with this approach is both microphones will broadcast on the same wireless channel. So if they’re both used at the same time, one may cancel part of the other’s message out.
